PARKING & SHUTTLES
The Monroe has free parking available, but we have hired a private shuttle service to run nonstop between The Monroe and the two hotels from 2 p.m. to 12 a.m.
We are heavily encouraging our guests to use the shuttle and the hotel blocks. This ensures guests can enjoy the bar while getting home safely.
Our guests can expect the shuttle loop to take 15 minutes during peak shuttle times. Final pickup at The Monroe will be 11:45 p.m. for friends and family helping with cleanup.
Bus Rules: No glass bottles, smoking, violence or any other forms of chaos that cause extra fees for the bride and groom.

3:30 - 5:00 p.m. & 9 - 11:00 p.m.

This is our favorite coffee shop in Des Moines. Emma loves their americano and Shafim always orders the cold brew latte.
DOWNTOWN FARMERS' MARKET
The market takes place every Saturday from 7 a.m. to noon in the Historic Court District in Downtown Des Moines. Find easy parking in the garage on 4th and Grand.
DES MOINES ART CENTER
If you're looking for a break from the August heat, check out the Art Center. Admission is free to see the modern and contemporary collections.
EAST VILLAGE
